Question of the Day …

I tend to have fairly good “intuition” when it comes to people, generally speaking. I often neglect my “gut instincts” when it comes to others and THAT is what gets me into trouble, but if I listen to myself, I’m usually a pretty good judge of character.

With that said … I am encountering something of a problem with people in various circumstances. These circumstances involve the people with whom I have “relationships” of various kinds and then “3rd parties” – and these “others” are people I do not trust. This is not in all situations, of course; I just happen to find myself in quite a few of these situations right now. I know I need to keep my distance from said “3rd parties” but I cannot tell others what to do so the friends or acquaintances who are dealing with the “3rd party” people do their thing and just try to be nice or go along with prior relationships, &c.

How do you deal with situations like this? In one instance, I have told a friend of mine to be careful. But beyond that, I really just do not know what to do. I know this 3rd party person is not a good influence RIGHT NOW, but I cannot be the judge, jury, and executioner – especially when I am not DIRECTLY involved. So how do you tell people that you care about the people they’re “befriending” or “trying to help” or whatever the case may be what you see without offending them and their own sense of character?

It’s a tricky one. Imma think about it a little bit tonight. At any rate, I hope you are all having a happy and healthy day wherever you are in the world and things are a little less complex for you! (I kind of doubt that; people are tough, no doubt!)

❤ Always, Beth
